			<description><![CDATA[<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font size="3" face="Calibri">Global Environmental Solution&rsquo;s&nbsp;affiliated company PJ/GES LLC was selected by Cianbro to perform the distribution of materials for the new 345 kV power line project.&nbsp; The project, beginning in July 2009, originated at the Vermont Yankee power plant &nbsp;in Vernon, Vermont and finished at the Cavendish, Vermont substation.&nbsp; Working with Cianbro on the third consecutive power line project showed GES&rsquo; commitment to the Maine based contractor (Cianbro).&nbsp; This was a unique opportunity for GES to participate in given the unique scope and complexity of the project.&nbsp; Transportation of the 125&rsquo; transmission poles weighing nearly 14,000 lbs&nbsp;per pole&nbsp;proved&nbsp;challenging for the PJ/GES LLC management team.&nbsp; Management overcame the challenges with the purchase of a specialty 91&rsquo; remote controlled steerable trailer and a 2009 Log-Lift tractor mounted knuckle boom was mobilized to safely handle the oversize poles.&nbsp; Off road equipment including two Timber-Pro forwarders offered ROW options.&nbsp; PJ/GES LLC is expected to finish staging over 900 transmission poles at the installation location on the rolling Southern Loop ROW in late January.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</font></p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Global Environmental Solution&rsquo;s (GES) affiliated company Maine Hubzone LLC has recently opened for business. &nbsp;&nbsp;Owners of GES and PM Construction have created the new company to offer set-aside options for government agencies and Prime Contractors.&nbsp; Maine Hubzone LLC is seeking final hubzone approval for the Fryeburg based company.&nbsp; Final certification should close in the first quarter of 2010.&nbsp; Maine Hubzone LLC has already responded to the USDA solicitation to build a Ranger Station in St Croix, Maine; &nbsp;in which the company was the second choice.&nbsp; This week Maine Hubzone LLC entered Phase #2 in the USDA Massabesic Forest Design/ Build Project in York Maine.&nbsp; This team is very excited about the upcoming opportunities for the Fryeburg Maine based company specializing in General Contracting, Energy Sector Support, and Rapid Response Contracting.</p>]]></description>
